Raining Umbrellas


I saw the blue sky turning into grey & then to black
Thundering voice with sparkling light all above
Just watching up above & a drop falls on my cheek
It was the colourless water droplet when I realized
The rains are back and so are the raining umbrellas
The wet wet season has arrived with reflecting colours
The colours of colourful umbrellas & not the colours
The umbrellas are now there for all the people
The one who hate & the one who love monsoons
The joy of tiny tots who want to run out from home
Taking their colourful small umbrellas out & dancing
Where the lovers & strangers come down under one
Yes! it is the Season of umbrellas all around for us
Some dull some bright some colourful some unique
The beautiful roof to remain away from getting wet
The way of seeking shelter & knowing a stranger
For walking more closely along with your loved ones
Even though some use these umbrellas in sunny days
But the craze of carrying an umbrella during the rains
An amazing way of lending your umbrella to someone
Just to get another reason to meet the loved ones again
It is the time of raining umbrellas, the umbrellas who
Protects during heavy rains, gets shattered in storms
Still it remains with us just like a support system
Gives us the roof just as our home to stay safe
Brings in new tracks to our life by connecting people
Be it friends, families, lovers or strangers,relations grow
Its the time to flaunt the beautiful umbrellas that you have
This isn't just a monsoon, its the raining umbrellas...
